Thanksgiving is done and we are all back at it today. I have had time to reflect on what I am thankful for and it really boils down to God, Family and Business. I won’t get super sappy on you about God and family, but I will about my business. I have truly been blessed with such amazing clients and incredible communities to serve. I never feel like I have to “sell” a house in Maplewood or South Orange, NJ. I honestly just trust that when someone gets on the train from NYC Penn Station and arrives into the South Orange or Maplewood trains stations, that they will just fall in love with these towns, and it will all fall into place. It is kinda like the move “Jerry Maguire” when she says “you had me at Hello”. I think that is how people feel when they get off the train. Then, I get to show gorgeous, unique, character-rich homes with so much charm and warmth, and people fall in love even more. But mostly, it is the people that make all the difference – once a client reads up on MaplewoodOnline.com or Mothers & More about these towns, and then gets to talk to the people who LIVE here, they know what a unique and special community of residents there are here. So, thank you Maplewood and S Orange for letting me serve you and be a proud resident and REALTOR to my favorite towns in NJ. VP

As you know, I preview new listings every week. Well, yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of visitn Fran Kurtis’s new listing on Grove Terrace, in the Montrose section of South Orange. This very unique home just took my breath away – built in the early 1980′s as a “exposed” post & beam construction, the “vacation” feel is undeniable. The foyer ceiling height soars, yet the rooms feel cozy and warm. You reaelly feel like you hav snuck away to some special cabin retreat in the woods. Listed at $525,000, it has 3/4 bedrooms, 2.1 baths, a nice deck off the back, a HUGE garage with loft space for home office, and a very private lot. Check out the pictures here. It will be “open” this Sunday from 1-4PM – Be sure to tell Fran that Vanessa sent you!!
